These students won the 1999 Kentucky State MATHCOUNTS Competition, entitling
each of them to their choice of a four-year, full-tuition college scholarship
to the University of Kentucky or the University of Louisville (five-year,
full-tuition scholarship if Louisville is the chosen school). In
addition, each student won trophies and awards, received a tee shirt, and
won an expenses-paid trip to Washington, D.C. in May, where they competed
in the National MATHCOUNTS Competition. National rankings are shown below.
The winning team coach won an expenses-paid trip to Washington, D.C., as
well, where she coached the Kentucky national team.
