| The 22nd MATHCOUNTS National Competition was held May 5-8, 2005 in Detroit, Michigan. The national competition, hosted by General Motors, was held on Friday, May 6. There were 57 teams that competed and those teams came from the United States and U.S. Department of Defense Schools, State Department Schools, Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands, and the Northern Mariana Islands. In all 228 students participated in the competition. Representing Kentucky as volunteers were: Connie Davis, State Coordinator - Computer Scoring Volunteer and Marilyn Lewis, P.E., 2005-2006 Kentucky State Chair - Grading Room Volunteer. | ||
