2000 Kentucky National MATHCOUNTS Team (L/R): Betsy Rickenbacker, Coach; Jennings Xu; Frank Guan; Jeremy Zimmerman; and Charley Seelbach.  The top two individuals square off in the Countdown Round (L/R): Frank Guan, who finished second in the Countdown Round, and Charley Seelbach, who won the round. 
"I'm so excited!" says the look on Brandyn Beavers' face (far right) after learning she placed fifth in the overall competition.  The University of Louisville and the University of Kentucky continued their support of the Kentucky MATHCOUNTS program by donating four, four-year, full-tuition college scholarships to the four top individual winners.
