![]() Thanks to the University of Louisville and the University of Kentucky for being Scholarship Sponsors! Scholarship Sponsor: The University of Louisville and the University of Kentucky provides the Top Four state winners with a full-tuition, four-year college scholarship (5 years if the student attends engineering school at U of L). The students who place in 5th - 10th place each receive an annual $1,500 tuition scholarship for four years (five if the student attends engineering school at U of L). ![]() MATHCOUNTS is Sum Fun! MATHCOUNTS promotes engineers and engineering. At the Kentucky State Competition, volunteers display the Image of the Engineer Gallery that depicts engineering projects that have won excellence in engineering awards. An "engineering" design is also presented for students to ponder. This year, students explored the engineering of the yo-yo.
